The work of the prophetic ministry is to release the will of God into the earth.

The Lord is revealing His “way” to the hungry and thirsty of His people who are willing to pay the price to know Him. The Spirit of God is raising up those in this day who will function not only in the pulpit before men, but behind the veil as kings and priest before God as “workers together with Him.” To bring forth His divine purposes in the end-times. It is the mind of God to use “Prophetic Intercession” to help bring those things to pass that are upon His heart that concern His people in this hour. At the same time conforming them to His image and preparing them to reign eternally with Him.

The ministry of Prophetic Intercession is a life lived in and by the Spirit, not a method, but a life of divine union with the Lord in which the desires of His heart, and the counsel of His will is made known and manifested in the earth through His Body.

It is a life and function of a holy, royal priesthood. “Ye also, as lively stones are built up a spiritual house a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should shew the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light” (I Peter 2:5 & 9).

The definition for the word “intercessor” in Hebrew is to come in betwixt (between). An intercessor is one who comes in between God and God’s just wrath and judgment. The intercessor stands before God, positions himself between God and those who deserve God’s wrath and judgment. “Neither is there any daysman (Hebrew – plead, reason together) betwixt us, that might lay his hand upon us both” (Job 9:33). The reason for the intercession is that “it is not the will of a merciful God to pour out wrath, but instead to show mercy.” It is a divine law of God in His kingdom that all sin must be judged. For this reason God has always had Himself a priesthood. The function of the priesthood is to intercede on behalf of those who are bound by Satan in sin – those who are in darkness who cannot pray for themselves. For those who are bound God does not blame or unrighteously judge them, but in great mercy seeks a way to bring deliverance to the person or people. Also a people who would pray His prophetic word that His ordained purposes would come to pass in the earth.

Holy Spirit we invite you in. Let your presence be a habitation that you may dwell in us as we abide with you; that you lead and direct our path and we yield to your authority.
